To commemorate this special occasion, we had the privilege of interviewing three remarkable women from our Salesforce Development Team in Bangladesh: Rowshanara Sadia, Nuzhat Zahan, and Nafisa Israt. They graciously shared their insights and experiences regarding women’s diversity and empowerment at Inovi Solutions.

Can you share your thoughts on the importance of representation and visibility of women in the tech industry? How do you think Inovi is supporting women’s advancement in this field?

“I strongly advocate for greater representation of women in the tech industry. Currently, there is a noticeable gender disparity, with fewer women holding tech positions compared to men. This inequity undermines the diversity of perspectives essential for innovation. By fostering a more inclusive environment and encouraging the participation of women in tech, we can harness a broader range of ideas and insights to enhance our products and drive progress.

At Inovi Solutions, we’ve recently made a positive change by actively hiring more female employees. Increasing the number of women in our workplace helps create a more balanced and diverse team, which ultimately benefits everyone. Having a diverse workforce means bringing different perspectives, ideas, and experiences, which can lead to better problem-solving and innovation. It also helps create a more inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

What initiatives or programs at Inovi do you believe have been most effective in promoting gender equality and diversity in the workplace, and how have you personally benefited from or contributed to these initiatives?

“Inovi Solutions has implemented several initiatives and programs aimed at promoting gender equality and diversity in the workplace. These include mentorship programs, unconscious bias training, diversity and inclusion workshops, employee resource groups, and flexible work arrangements.

I have personally participated in and benefited from some of these initiatives at Inovi Solutions. For example, I have been involved in the mentorship program, where I received valuable guidance and advice from my mentor, which has helped me grow professionally. Additionally, the diversity and inclusion workshops have helped me gain a better understanding of the importance of diversity in the workplace and how I can contribute to creating a more inclusive environment.

Overall, these initiatives have had a positive impact on my experience at Inovi Solutions and have contributed to my personal and professional growth.”

Through events and initiatives celebrating diversity, such as our annual dish party and cultural celebrations like Pitha Utshob, Christmas, and the Fruit Festival, we promote understanding and appreciation among colleagues. These gatherings provide opportunities for socializing and relationship-building beyond work tasks, fostering a sense of belonging.”

“During a challenging project at Inovi Solutions, our team of three female Salesforce developers tackled the task of implementing a complex automation solution for a non-profit organization. Despite tight deadlines, our diverse skill sets and collaborative approach enabled us to meet client expectations. Through careful planning, effective communication, and mutual support, we delivered a streamlined solution, improving operations and enhancing user engagement. This experience highlights the significant contributions of women at Inovi Solutions and underscores the power of collaboration and inclusivity in achieving remarkable results. Moving forward, we remain committed to creating an environment where all individuals thrive and contribute to our collective success, regardless of gender.”
